Cattyshack Cares works with rescues and foster-based organizations to support cats once they are ready for adoption.

You do the hard part - rescue, medical care, stabilization, and foster placement.

WE TAKE IT FROM THERE

HOW IT WORKS

Once a cat is adoption-ready, they may be considered for intake into our program.

If accepted, ownership transfers to Cattyshack Cares, and our team assumes full responsibility for:
✓ Daily care and housing
✓ Medical decisions and veterinary care
✓ Behavioral evaluation
✓ Adoption screening and final placement

Cats are then introduced to our staffed, social environment at Cattyshack Cafe, where they interact with potential adopters and are matched based on real-time observation andcompatibility.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

✓ A high-visibility, public-facing environment for adoptable cats
✓ A structured, hands-on approach to matching cats with adopters
✓ Full management of the adoption process, from inquiry to placement
✓ Reduced time spent on applications, communication, and coordination
✓ Recognition of your organization as the source of the cat
✓ Potential transfer support (typically up to $150) to help offset care already invested, based on availability and individual circumstances

Flexibility & Fit

There is no requirement to send all of your cats to us or commit to a set number.

Some organizations work with us regularly. Others reach out for specific cats or situations where placement support would be helpful.

Whether it’s one cat or an ongoing relationship, the goal is the same - to create the right outcome for each individual cat.

Not every cat is suited for a public, social setting, and intake is based on health, behavior, and overall readiness.

Placement decisions are made by our team, using a combination of application review, in-person interaction, and observed compatibility.
